Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy cataloged under call no G.3811.5 bound in early calf double-paneled in blind. Spine ruled in gilt with title stamped onto a red label. All text block edges sprinkled red. Autograph of "W. Bracebridge" on front pastedown. First leaf (¶1=blank) wanting. Measurements and watermark evidence suggest leaves 4P3 through 4Q4 supplied from another copy or copies. Purchased in Dec., 1940.
Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy cataloged under call no G.3811.5a comprised of several fragments only, including, either in portions or in their entirety: Every Man in His Humour, Every Man Out of His Humour, Cynthia's Revells, Poetaster, Volpone or the Foxe, and The Silent Woman. Bound in the following order: A1, ¶2, A2, G3-2F5, 2O4-2R3, 3B2-3D5. Quarterbound in 19th-century brown morocco and papier tourniquet. Numerous early inscriptions, including multiple autographs of John and Mary Williams, alphabets, paraphrases, pen trials, etc. Bookplate of the BPL Pierre Fund, dated Dec. 18, 1881, on front pastedown. Modern typescript title page is inserted at front.
